Context & problem
YALI Network Kano organised the Tree Planting Project 2025 with the Kano State Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, part of the state's five-million-tree campaign, and a Back-to-School Drive in October 2025 with partner organisations.
Why it mattered
Both programmes put young people to work on visible, local problems: tree cover and school attendance.
My role
Secretary General of YALI Network Kano (Jan 2025 – Jan 2026). His specific contribution to each programme is to be confirmed.
